Historical Note:

Ed Rugg joined the administration of Kennesaw College in 1982 as Assistant to the President for Planning, Research and Computer Services under the administration of President Betty L. Siegel. He served as Vice President for Academic Affairs until 2002, when he took over leadership of the Center for Institutional Effectiveness (now Enterprise Information Management). Dr. Rugg retired from Kennesaw State University in March 2010.

Rugg received a Bachelor's degree with a double major in Psychology and Sociology from Florida Presbyterian College (now Eckerd College) in 1971 and a Doctorate in Psychology from George Peabody College in 1975. Before arriving at Kennesaw, Rugg was the Assistant Academic Dean at the University of Mississippi.
