Description:

"This work has two objectives. First, it is intended to serve as an informative tour guide to the park. There are five stops within the park and an interesting route back to the starting point. A park location map is on the back cover.

Secondly, it is intended to serve as a suggestive guide to historic sites associated with the Atlanta Campaign preceding and following the battle of Kennesaw Mountain. It offers location maps and overview information. This will provide background to the many detailed Georgia historical markers you will encounter and read. But it will not tell you where to go. Touring the campaign area or Atlanta's Civil War sites requires providing your own initiative, planning, road maps, and sense of adventure." [From the Introduction]
